In the following, we provide information about the collection of personal data when using our website and the functions provided on it. Personal data is all data that can be related to you personally, e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, user behaviour.

2. Collection and storage of personal data as well as type and purpose and their use
a) When visiting the website
When using the website www.FSA-AMBERG.de for information purposes only, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without any action on your part and stored until it is automatically deleted
- IP address of the requesting computer,

- Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT),

The aforementioned data is processed by us for the following purposes
- Ensuring a smooth connection to the website,
- Ensuring a comfortable use of our website,
- analysing system security and stability and
- for other administrative purposes.
The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the data collection purposes listed above. Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person.
Our website is not hosted by us, but by a service provider who processes the aforementioned data on our behalf in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR for the purpose of providing the website.
b) When registering for our newsletter
On our website, you have the option of subscribing to a free newsletter, which we use to inform you about new products and special promotions. When you register for the newsletter, the data from the input screen is transmitted to Rhein-Nadel Automation GmbH, Reichsweg 19-23, 52068 Aachen, Germany. To receive the newsletter, it is sufficient to provide an e-mail address and a language selection. The provision of further data is voluntary and is used to address you personally and to be able to send you more targeted information.
The following data is also collected during registration
- IP address of the accessing computer
- Date and time of registration
We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for sending the newsletter. This means that we will only send you an e-mail newsletter if you have expressly confirmed to us that you consent to the sending of newsletters. We will then send you a confirmation e-mail asking you to confirm that you wish to receive future newsletters by clicking on a corresponding link.
By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to the use of your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
Our e-mail newsletters are sent via the technical service provider CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Mühlenstr. 43, 26180 Rastede (‘CleverReach’). CleverReach uses the personal data provided by you to send and statistically analyse the newsletter on our behalf. The emails sent contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels for evaluation purposes. This allows us to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links have been clicked on. Conversion tracking can also be used to analyse whether a predefined action has taken place after clicking on the link in the newsletter. Technical information is also collected (e.g. time of access, IP address, browser type and operating system). The data is only collected in pseudonymised form and is not linked to your other personal data. A direct personal reference is excluded. This data is used exclusively for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of the recipients.
If you wish to object to data analysis for statistical evaluation purposes, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter.
We have concluded an order processing contract with CleverReach, in which we oblige CleverReach to protect our customers' data and not to pass it on to third parties.

The legal basis for the processing of the data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
The purpose of collecting the email address is to deliver the newsletter. The collection of other personal data as part of the registration process serves to prevent misuse of the services or the email address used and to personalise the newsletter.
The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. Once you have cancelled your subscription, your e-mail address will be deleted from our newsletter distribution list immediately, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration.
You can unsubscribe at any time, for example via a link at the end of each newsletter. Alternatively, you can also send your unsubscribe request to DV@FSA-AMBERG.de by email at any time.
This also enables you to withdraw your consent to the storage of the personal data collected during the registration process.
c) When using our contact form
For questions of any kind, we offer you the opportunity to contact us via a form provided on the website. It is necessary to provide a valid e-mail address and a first and last name so that we know who sent the enquiry and can answer it. Further information can be provided voluntarily.
Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR on the basis of your voluntarily given consent.
The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be automatically deleted after your enquiry has been dealt with.
d) Social media

3. Transfer of data
Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed below.
We only pass on your personal data to third parties if
- you have given your express consent to this in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR,
- the disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR is necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests or those of a third party, unless your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms, which require the protection of personal data, prevail, in particular for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in not disclosing your data,
- in the event that there is a legal obligation for the disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR, and
- this is legally permissible and necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR.
We sometimes use external service providers to process your data. These have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by our instructions and are regularly monitored.
4. Cookies
We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our website. Cookies do not cause any damage to your end device and do not contain any viruses, Trojans or other malware.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House Barrow Street Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter: Google). Google Analytics uses cookies to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.

Google Analytics is used on this website with IP anonymisation. As a result, IP addresses are further processed in abbreviated form and personal references can therefore be excluded. 7. Rights of data subjects
You have the right to:
- to request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR. In particular, you can request information about the purposes of processing, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of appeal, the origin of your data if it was not collected by us, as well as the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information on its details;
- in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, to immediately request the correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us
- in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, to request the erasure of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims
- in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data if the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, but you refuse to delete it and we no longer need the data, but you need it for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims or you have lodged an objection to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR;
- in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request that it be transmitted to another controller;
- in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR, to revoke your consent once given to us at any time. As a result, we may no longer continue the data processing that was based on this consent in the future and
- to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or workplace or our registered office.
8. Right of objection
If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, provided that there are reasons for this arising from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which will be implemented by us without specifying a particular situation.

9. Data security
We use the widespread SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser when you visit our website. As a rule, this is 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can recognise whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the address or lower status bar of your browser.
We also use suitable technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
